These instances offer up to 30% better performance and 19% improved price performance compared to M7a instances, with enhanced memory bandwidth, networking, and storage throughput. M8a instances support instance bandwidth configuration for flexible resource allocation and are available in ten sizes and two bare metal options, suitable for a variety of workloads including financial applications and real-time analytics.

AWS now allows users to encrypt identity data in AWS IAM Identity Center using customer-managed KMS keys (CMKs), providing organizations with greater control over encryption key management for compliance and audit purposes.
